2016 Aces Board Members

Officer positions for the 2016 Aces Board were assigned at Monday’s meeting. 2016 officers are as follows:
President – Allen Risley
Vice President – Randy Wylot
Membership Director – Mark Verrochi
Treasurer – Matt James
Secretary – Chad Nichter
Course Representatives:
Morley Field – Christian Cullen (Co-Rep Carl Renda)
Sun Valley – Mike Sills
Sycuan – Chad Holiman
Mast Park – Jerry Jones
Kit Carson Park – Tony Buck
Brengle Terrace Park – Jordan Hicks
We can still use a lot of help carrying out club tasks! The various course reps can definitely use help with maintenance and leagues, so if you want to help our just ask! Carl Renda has offered to pick up the task of organizing the Aces’ Monthlies (filling the very large shoes of Jason Perdue) but can use some help with that.
We are looking forward to a great 2016! Lots of events: Daniel Boe Memorial, Battle at Brengle, Morley Spring Fling, Sun Valley Open, a Women’s Global Event tournament and the return of the Challenge at Goat Hill. Along with morley monthlies, the Aces’ monthly series, the Ace Race, putting leagues, a Scott Stokely-inspired “Blue Power” event, various Birdie Bashes/Two-Disc Challenges/Trilogy/MVP/etc events and a few barbeque/bag tag challenges we should have a lot of disc golfing to do in San Diego. San Diego Aces Disc Golf Club 
Suggestion for the fence that is down at Mast Park to leave an opening for retrieving discs golferd been jumping over the fence to retrieve discs.
Jumping over fences into people’s backyards is trespassing! Please do not do this! If you lose a disc in someone’s yard please go to their front door after you are through playing. The biggest complaint we hear from the city of Santee has to do with people climbing over fences to retrieve discs.
Course Area fence protecting park walkway that fence. If dics make it to someones back yd show respect a knock on there door a sorry may get your disc back. Ya they left a gap. Good thinking. Love to play Santee. (Papa Lo) Tim. Good work Aces
