Aces Board Member Election Underway

The election for 2011 San Diego Aces Board positions is now underway, with voting taking place online through Friday, December 17.  Aces members with valid e-mail addresses should have received a message from “San Diego Aces Disc Golf Club” with a link to the online ballot.  Each link is unique and can only be used once.  If you believe you should have received an e-mail but did not, please start by checking your spam filter.  If that does not work, contact Allen Risley at rizbee@teamrizbee.com for assistance.

Members who are unable to vote online or who choose not to do so will be able to vote in person on Saturday and Sunday, December 18 & 19, in conjunction with the North vs. South team challenge.  The ballot box will follow the action to Morley Field and Sun Valley on Saturday, Kit Carson Park and Montiel Park on Sunday.

All nine board positions are up for election.  There are also three by-law amendments on the ballot: 1) clarifies procedures for filling vacant board positions, 2) adds language describing grounds for removal of a board member, including lack of attendance at board meetings, and 3) establishes an Executive Board made up of the President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and Membership Director and makes these the only elected board positions (Course Representatives would be appointed).
