New Course Approved for Santee!

The Santee City Council voted this week to approve funding a 9-hole disc golf course at Mast Park in Santee. This is a project that the San Diego Aces have been working on all year. Many thanks to Aces members Scott Pittman and Matt James, who got the ball rolling on this one. Now it’s YOUR turn! Is there an underused park in your neighborhood? When does the coarse in Santee get built?
Thanks for asking! The Aces and the city of Santee have been negotiating the agreement which will allow club volunteers to install the course. With the most recent agreement draft, received 1/26/2015, it looks like we have an agreement that will work for both sides. We will be deciding soon on a date for the first work party and will post info once that date is set.
Spoke too soon. We still have issues to iron out in the agreement.
