Kit Carson DGC Closed Sunday morning (11/24/2013)

Kit Carson Park Disc Golf Course holes 6 through 18 will be closed on Sunday, November 24th from 8am to 2pm for a regional high school cross country meet. The City of Escondido and the Aces ask that you play another course at that time.
Please cooperate with race organizers and the Parks Department – the park is there for all of us to share, sometimes we just can’t play disc golf there.

This is so stupid the old man who half assed the cross country course is an idiot. Right threw the disc course I saw him do it purposely to ruin the sport. 18 got bent from an idiot running there car into it
The Parks Department has told us that the cross country course has followed the same path for several years. It is inconvenient for disc golfers on the days they run races, but that’s the price we have to pay when we have a course in a multi-use park. The Parks Department promises that they will give us earlier warning of these closures in the future.
