Aces Membership Barbecue – Feb. 5th

The San Diego Aces Disc Golf Club will hold the first Member Barbecue of 2011 on Saturday, Feb. 5th at Morley Field. If you haven’t renewed your membership for 2011, this event will be the time to do it. A new shipment of membership discs will be arriving just in time for the barbeque, so attendees will have a great choice of disc weights and colors. Member discs for 2011 include Innova Champion Destroyers, Orcs and TeeBirds, along with KC Pro Aviars.

The barbeque will run from 11am to 2pm and will be held at the picnic area near Morley Field hole #8. There will be burgers and hot dogs available for members (a small donation is appreciated), and a variety of disc golf skill games that you can play for prizes. If you’re playing in the pro monthly tournament that day you’ll still be able to grab some chow between rounds.

After the barbeque (approx. 2pm) the Aces will hold a bag tag melee – a great chance for those with new bag tags to compete for one of the coveted black tags (numbers 1 through 10).  Come out and join in on the pre-Superbowl fun!
